| August 25-27, 6:30-10:00 pm, Ballou Park Nature Center Bow season is closing in and classes are filling up fast. This course is required for first-time licensees, if you did not buy a license the previous year and a great refresher for novice and experienced hunters. Instructors from the Virginia Department of Game & Inland Fisheries will share gun safety, first aid, tracking tips and more. Advance registration required. Ages 12-adult. Call 799-5215, to register.
